I've said it before and I will say it again that sheep are not my favorite animal. But since this blog is called A Day in My Life, and not by choice the sheep are part of my everyday routine I decided to include them. Last week on Easter sunday there was a ewe that had twins and then a little while later one had had triplets.

After taking a quick gander, one may realize that these are not "normal" looking sheep. I have never seen a lamb with spots before, not that I have been around that many sheep. But these lambs were not only strange looking but seemed to squeel like goats. Not that I have ever been around goats but this is what I would imagine they might sound like. After looking at the calendar and doing some quick math we realized that day was exactly 145 days after Rampage showed up here. 145 days is the gestation period of a sheep and Rampage, well where do I start?

Yes, this is Rampage. John gave him the name because, ummm, he is crazy, and runs head first into things, and jumps and climbs anything he chooses. Did I mention that he pee's all over himself. Sorry if you are gagging, but I like to keep things interesting. Rampage just showed up one day. We found out where he came from and called them to come get him, but they apparently didn't want him either because they never came to get him. So yes, Rampage is the daddy of the strange looking lambs. Only time will tell how many lambs will be out of his fine breeding.
